Describe the bug
Cannot install the addon, I get the following message

I tried the other version on my Blender 2.82, it actually does install but it never shows up in my tools inside of the UV editor.

Your help will be greatly appreciated, this addon looks amazing and it will make my life so much easier.

Hi thanks for reporting this. I'll try to have a quick look tonight. Not sure what changed in API, I've been using it without issues lately.

Could you and look in the console a see if any issues related to this add-on show?

Well most talent was used by MeshLogic, he/she started it. I just rearranged it a bit and changed some items. PS it is already 2.8 ready, I forgot I made a bl2.8 branch and never updated the master.

The link below should work just fine. It does for me with 2.82 and 2.83 on OSX

The issue is found in this post #2
Due to me adding versioning numbers with dots to the zip and folder, it causes issues in Blender. Renaming the folder to Extra-Image-List will fix the issue. Ill update the zips and folders tonight

I'm having the same issue with the .zip file I downloaded from https://github.com/schroef/Extra-Image-List/releases/tag/v.0.2.3. I tried renaming the .zip file as you described, but with no success. Help!

Hi shroef, unfortunately I still experience the same issue :O

Renaming the zip doesnt fix this issue. Its the unzipped folder which need to be renamed. So find the script folder of your blender version and then rename it to Extra-Image-List
When you have renamed the folder, then you can refresh the list off addons in blender using the refresh button in the top right.

I did not had the time yet to do new uploads. I hope I can do it this week.

Sorry for the late replay, ive been without a proper working laptop for a while.

If you go into the addon folder and remove the last part of the folder "_v0", you should be fine. Not exactly sure where that suddenly comes from

EDIT
Ahhh i got it. Its my mistake. I use sort of versioning locally to keep track of versions. Like i said, removing the last part from the underscore till the end should make it work properly again.

I hope to get a laptop real soon so i can work on my addons again. My latest Blender is still 2.83 and havent really worked in Blender for a couple months now. Man i miss it :(
