It might be powerful to let users predefine a specific set of workbenches in the plugin's settings and to switch between them via commands (and, therefore, hotkeys).
For example, you could have a task workbench, a rough ideas workbench, and a references workbench. Then the plugin could push items to each depending on which hotkeys you used... or perhaps which click-command you used. Maybe there's a way to use some keyboard command to cycle between the predefined destinations, too. 🤔
