speedtest-cli-extras
====================
Version 2.0.1 (2017-03-26)
NEW FEATURES:
- Now speedtest-csv --debug also outputs the speedtest-cli output.
BUG FIXES:
- In some cases, the reported download / upload speeds would
be prefixed by stray periods, e.g. '.67.91'.
- Now speedtest-csv --help does a better job identifying the
version of speedtest-cli used.
Version 2.0.0 (2017-01-14)
SIGNIFICANT CHANGES:
- New defaults are --sep "\t" --standardize --header-units.
NEW FEATURES:
- speedtest-csv --help now reports on the versions of installed
speedtest-cli and python. If missing, that is highlighted.
Version 1.3.0 (2016-10-05)
NEW FEATURES:
- Added option --header-units, which adds units to the header
fields rather than the values. Option --no-header-units adds
the units to the values, which is the current default.
- If speedtest-csv and speedtest-cli are in the same directory,
then speedtest-cli is guaranteed to be found regardless of PATH.
Version 1.2.0 (2016-08-25)
NEW FEATURES:
- Added options --share and --no-share for controlling whether
speedtest-cli should be called with --share or not.
- Added options --no-standardize to report non-standardized units.
- If speedtest-cli has a non-zero exit code, then speedtest-csv
exits with an error message and the same exit code.
Version 1.1.2 (2016-07-05)
NEW FEATURES:
- speedtest-csv now passes any additional unknown arguments as-is
to the speedtest-cli tool, e.g. speedtest-cli option '--secure'.
Version 1.1.1 (2016-04-04)
BUG FIXES:
- speedtest-csv.bat did not look for speedtest-csv in the same
directory as itself.
Version 1.1.0 (2016-04-03)
NEW FEATURES:
- It is now possible to output fields delimited by arbitrary strings,
e.g. commas (--sep ',') and TABs (--sep '\t'). For backward
compatibility, the default is still to use semicolons (--sep ';').
This default separator might change in a future version.
- It is now possible output quoted fields, e.g. --quote '"'.
- Added command-line options --help, --version, --debug, --last, --sep,
and --quote (in addition to existing --header and --standardize).
- Modernized the command-line option parser. This makes it easier
to add more options in the future.
Version 1.0.0 (2014-09-06)
NEW FEATURES:
- First public release.
