Hi there! Checking in on this--it's still happening and is creating extra work and affecting our ability to be able to fully use the system. Thank you!! |

Looked at this today. Trying to replicate the issue. Are the requests initiated in the partner app? @armahillo @mdworken |

Ah ha! It appears that this happens when the "Estimated on hand" number is zero! What is the expected behavior? |

Hi there! So I think this is actually connected to another issue I just discovered and was getting ready to put in. Right now, the only way we can add to inventory is through a donation, purchase, or inventory adjustment. For things like our period kits and potty-training toolkits, we are creating those in-house through purchased components. But the kits themselves are not donated or purchased. We need a way to adjust and add to inventory outside of the purchase and donation options. When we realized we needed to have inventory on hand for the period kits for them to appear correctly, we tried to add finished period kits and then realized that none of the current ways for adding worked for these items. Let me know if talking through on the phone would be helpful or easier! Thank you!! |

That is really helpful context! If you were just about to put in another issue for that, please do, in the interest of broadcasting that to other contributors too. Then we can mark this ticket as dependent on the new one. Thank you!

@SCDB hey there -- sorry for the delayed response. I'd love to learn more about this issue and see if we can pinpoint where this issue is coming from. To do that I'd like to get a bit more information on the specific request that had this issue. Could you please provide me the URL of a partner request that included invalid items? You could get this by clicking "View" on the request and then copy & paste that URL. Please let me know which item was invalid and what should it really be? Thanks |

Hi @edwinthinks thanks for your patience with my reply! I can't get this to recreate because we added a ton to our inventory so that agencies would be able to accurately order these and NOT have it turn to newborn diapers. I had previously put it in under my fake partner agency (Megan's Agency). Previously, I had received reports of this happening from our Program Manager who was going in and manually changing things once orders were received. A month or two ago I put in enough inventory for the kits to last a couple months hoping that we wouldn't run into this issue again for awhile. Let me know if jumping on the phone would be easier to help talk through this! --Megan |

Good morning!
When an order from a partner agency requests period kits (pad or tampon kits), it shows up as "newborn" diapers on our distribution list. The request from the agency is correct:
But when we go to the details of the distribution it has switched everything to Newborn diapers (except sometimes pad kits randomly):
We have been manually changing it to what was actually ordered by the agency. We haven't noticed this happening with any inventory items besides the period kits.
I also tried to change the option manually to the correct period kits and there weren't any options in the menu besides pads--is this because our inventory levels are 0 for the other ones? If so, it would be nice to still be able to choose that item as we usually make them in real time and not really far in advance of distributions (and not as far in advance as partners are actually ordering).
Thanks!
Megan
