docs.ropensci.org pkgdown styling issue in navbar for articles with dropdown

R packages with more than one vignette/article show a dropdown in the navbar. This is expected. The word articles is shown at a smaller font size than the other navbar elements though (on wide and small screens):

This is not the case when I build the site locally. Neither is it the case on the pkgdown website.

This affects all packages built on docs.ropensci.org. I tried to compare docs.ropensci.org/frictionless-r with pkgdown, but can't find the root of this issue, but it is likely caused by a custom style for docs.ropensci.org.
