Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The spacecraft conversion routines assume that certain data values exist (e.g., sc_xhat_ecef_y).

Describe the solution you'd like
Check through these functions to ensure any error messages that are raised are sufficient to debug. Add a check for parameters if necessary

Describe alternatives you've considered
Wait until a problem arises.
