PyLadies Global Meeting

Agenda

New Business

  • An update from @trallard : our designer just started working on the website this week. Hopefully she will have some progress to share for our next global council meeting (October).
  • Award $ for Outstanding PyLady awardees
  • PyLadiesCon budget finalization
  • CiviCRM update from Phyllis
    • can use PSF's hosting
    • global can manage chapters
    • chapters can manage their membership, events, payments
    • each organizer would need an account
    • PSF can see everything, but we wouldn't be included in their data
    • PSF uses Civi for microgrants requests - can have grant options that can be reviewed by global council
    • ability to email via the system - can setup templates for messages
    • awaiting a prototype/demo
    • PSF wants to use it for all fiscal sponsorees
    • JMA will give us a cost estimate once we tell them all that we want
  • Digestion of Governance meeting
