Feature Request: Launch or focus shortcuts

One feature that I love about having utilities like hyprctl on hyprland or swaymsg in sway is the ability to create a launch or focus script for certain applications. I have my browser setup so that I can launch it with a keyboard shortcut and then if it's open any other uses of the same shortcut will focus that window no matter where I am. I do this for a text editor as well. It'd be a nice feature to have built in.

Also, I can give more input if needed, and if someone points me in the right direction, I wouldn't mind trying to figure out how to implement it.
