Cosmic-applets version: pinned to commit d193f10102bf70822623e7e484548b6b4b6c3ee7

Specific applet that this is regarding (if applicable): cosmic-applet-time

Issue/Bug description: Changing the system timezone changes the time in the settings app but not in the applet

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Change timezone in settings
  2. No change in applet

Expected behavior: Applet shows updated time

Other notes:

  • Note that I'm not changing the timezone from COSMIC Settings; I use NixOS and I'm changing this through its config. This shouldn't matter since COSMIC Settings is correctly detecting the change.
  • Rebooting fixes the issue (likely clearing some form of cache)
