Can't get updated su binary to install under SlimKat on an SG3.

I'm trying to get this version of Superuser installed from FDroid, onto my Samsung Galaxy 3 running SlimKat 4.4.4 ROM. I already had the other SuperUser installed from FDroid.

This newer more open version keeps popping up a notification saying the su binary is out of date. Trying to install http://superuser.phh.me/superuser.zip from recovery shows an error. I've had to revert to the older Superuser.

There really should be better instructions to get this to work, I had to hunt through other peoples issues to figure this out. Still not working though.

Could you get recovery logs?

Here's the recovery log, with only the relevant bits. I hope that helps. In case it matters, I had renamed superuser.zip to superuser_NEW.zip so I could tell the difference between it and the other superuser.zip that was already there.
