First, thank you for your work on this!! 🙏🏽

When Blender is installed through the Windows Store, I don't seem to be able to connect to server. Maybe this should at least be noted through documentation. (I've seen other addons not function properly with Microsoft-Store installations of Blender, probably because MS keeps the directory of the installed application VERY locked down.)

I just continually get a "Waiting for Blender".

In the Figma info panel, I see (on two different computers)

VM227:175 WebSocket connection to 'ws://localhost:1410/' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

On the Blender side, it seems that the server is able to start fine. At least, there doesn't seem to be anything to suggest that something is wrong.

System info:

  • OS: Windows 11 (and also 10)
  • Blender: 4.2, installed through MS Store ( 👎🏽 )
  • Figma: using the Windows app
