Looking into different projects, there are differences between used words - sometimes subtle, sometimes substantial. To get some clarity on this, I've created an intial terminology document.
To anyone who has domain knowledge of a certain project: please add your project's terms. The current state is just a start, so feel free to introduce new concepts as well and discuss how things fit together in our whole food ecosystem (remembering that the purpose of the document is to bring clarity on how different systems relate to each other).

I'm not putting this into the terminology doc because I might be out of line for the topic, not sure.
Looking at the terminology, what jumps out for me is that it doesn't account for different perspectives, which is OK for an "enterprise" or one entity, but gets pretty tangled for a network.
For example, Supplier is a role between business entities/agents. One entity/agent (like a farm or a hub) could be a supplier to some and a customer to others. And could be a processor or a transporter for others within the network.
Product also seems a bit narrow. There is a whole flow of resources that sometimes are Products, sometimes are resources that go into your product (like bags for the carrots, or compost for the field).
Some people are doing work here: https://valueflo.ws/ to define vocabulary for economic networks. Way more general than food, and just in beginning stages. We've popped into the Interoperability issue #1 some....
