The osm-qa-tile + tile-reduce analysis stack is an efficient and simple large-scale OpenStreetMap data analysis system that doesn't rely on external APIs such as the openstretmap.org/api, overpass, or ohsome.
It's currently unknown just exactly how many OSM data quality / assessment / etc. projects use osm-qa-tiles. A list describing research / websites / etc. that use osm-qa-tiles would be helpful for others to find these tilesets / get started. Perhaps it's just too technical and abstract, so some code examples / example analyses could be helpful.
Currently I know of... (and obviously biased to my own research that uses qa-tiles):
Jennings Anderson, Dipto Sarkar, and Leysia Palen (2019). Corporate Editors in the Evolving Landscape of OpenStreetMap ISPRS Int. J. Geo-Inf. doi:10.3390/ijgi8050232
Jennings Anderson, Robert Soden, Brian Keegan, Leysia Palen, and Kenneth M. Anderson (2018). The Crowd is the Territory: Assessing Quality in Peer-Produced Spatial Data During Disasters. International Journal of HCI. doi:10.1080/10447318.2018.1427828
/cc @tyrasd, @mikelmaron, ?? ...and should such a list link to an examples page? Or is this something better put on the osm wiki?
