How to remove exited K8s container?

K8s leaves a bunch of exited containers after every reboot, is there a way to remove them either by command or automatically? (do not remove the Docker containers started manually)

e.g.

I've never seen more than one set of exited containers, so I don't think it matters. They get cleaned up eventually.
