We have the "Automatic Actions" on Cambiatus for a while, but sadly its underused. There is no way for the admins to use it. The effort of this discussion is to explain a little better how we do it on the contracts and discover the best way to present this to our users
How it works
It is an action, like the regular claimable actions that we are all familiar with. It is a way to mint new tokens based on actions the users do that helps the community to reach its goals.
On claimable actions we verify that the user actually did what they are claiming by asking for a verification vote for a certain number of validators. Those validators check and give their saying if the claimer did or did not did the action at hand.
On automatic actions or simply "award" the process only rely on the admin. It cannot be initiated by regular users, and after the admin choose an award action, he/she only needs to choose an user to receive the reward. It will respect the same rules as any action, like limit date, usages Example of an action that is automatic but has the same validation for its usage, reward amount, etc
What we need to do
Currently there is no mechanism for an admin to use to choose which user to reward the action. Nor we have a way for the user to see its rewards, or to show that on the community page:
All rewards on a community
How the admin can actually award people
Where do we show those rewards? Together with regular claimable actions, like we do now?
