I'm wondering if this is a bug. @b1nary-b0b are you logging into the self service portal as admin? @jeffibm have you seen this issue before and if not, can you reproduce? |

Hey Guys, @Fryguy Thanks for taking time to have a look! :) Yes, I tried as admin initially, but there were no options to chose from. So i created a "Test"-User and started toying around with permissions within a Role and Group i created for it. But still same result with Test User. I am also able to deploy VMs from regular dashboard without issues. The Cluster and Host are recognized by the provider. @jeffibm Also thanks for taking time! :) I just setup the appliance, spun it up, connected it to vcenter. I created a template in vCenter and deployed a machine from it in ManageIQ dashboard. Afterwards I created a catalog item, logged into self-Service as admin and tried to order that catalog item. There I was not able to select anything from one of both drop downs. Otherwise the environment should be in mint state. If there are any logs or anything else that might be helpful, please let me know and I will provide it :) Thanks a ton! |

@b1nary-b0b Is this a custom dialog? If possible, can you export your custom dialog so we can replicate the issue? Otherwise we can't really help you out. |

Hi @b1nary-b0b the Transform VM dialog was part of a feature which would migrate virtual machines from vSphere to RHV. The backend code has been deleted starting with the najdorf release as the v2v component is no longer maintained. |

Hey Guys,
I hope everyone is doing great!
Im fairly new to ManageIQ and I have so far connected to my vCenter instance and was also able to already deploy some VMs. So far so good. Now I have created a catalog item to setup self service portal. Unfortunately I am not able to select a Provider or Cluster during Transform VM Dialog - Drop down menu for Provider and Cluster are empty. I have already tried several things with permissions, but even with admin account I am not able to make a selection.
Maybe someone can point me in the right direction on what to check or to do :) Any help would be much appreciated. Should you need further information, please let me know!
I have also attached a screenshot.
