Maybe we should think about switching to VuePress v2 on midterm.
I can see that many of the community plugins support v2 but not all support v1.

I have looked around a bit and thought about adding https://github.com/xuekai-china/vuepress-plugin-right-anchor which is one of those plugins that have left a legacy layer.
This brought me to the thoughts about v2.

We would have to adapt the setupo to get it ready and we would likely have to do so for the docs preview too.
Since all of our netlify builds are based on the main branch we should be able to do this without the need of keeping several exclusions for archive websites.

Sure, why not :)
Migrating from v0 to v1 was not so much a walk in the park (changes in layouts), so hoping v1 to v2 would be smoother. Will need to check individual plugins' compatibility, e.g. Algolia etc.
