AFAIK we're not leveraging any new features, but compatibilities might cause issues for users at install time.

It's launched now, those most of our upstreams do not support it and/or forbid it at the packaging level. conda-forge has started a migration, which might take a while to complete ("complete" being with respect to our dependencies only)

Worth noting that this is required for Python 3.13 support
