More control on thumbnails #19
Comments
I see your point, Kim. Maybe the fallback image could be used when no picture is available, what do you think? |
Using a fallback image when there is no media present could confuse users. I've thought about setting aside blank space for consistency, but this would be a problem for sites that use very little media. For example, there could be whole pages where no image is present. Those instances could choose to hide thumbnails with the new setting, but that could be unintuitive for sites that don't use media at all. I haven't figured out a solution I like yet, but I'm open to other ideas. |
Additionally: if thumbnails are removed, maybe you could implement some extra views (I find very useful some the ones developed by George Soules - see https://github.com/gsoules/AvantSearch, Search Results Views)... just an idea. |
Two suggestions concerning thmbnails:
collections/browse
anditems/browse
: I’d add a config option to move thumbnails to left or right;collections/browse
anditems/browse
: I'd add a config option to hide/show thumbnails, or even an extra toggle button to show a list more compacted without the thumbnailThe text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
