Weird error message about free space #19
Comments
Getting the same thing. Not sure how much free space is expected ? |
It needs as much free space as the post compact file - so in @warpdesign's case 5141MB is needed. This is because it shrinks to a new copy before asking you to replace the original @okibcn 's error message presumably needs to be |
"It needs as much free space as the post compact file - so in @warpdesign's case 5141MB is needed." That doesn't follow at all. That's just how much free space he has currently, he could need 6000MB, 10,000MB, 50,000MB, who knows. All one can say for certain is that 5141MB is not enough and the needed amount is some number bigger than that |
I'm experiencing the same, which is frustrating given that the reason I need to shrink the wsl image in the first place is because I've run out of hard drive space |
When attempting to compress an image without enough free space, I get this error message:
Notice the 0 MB of free space.
