According to https://www.electronjs.org/docs/latest/tutorial/spellchecker it should be possible to do this for the WhatsApp program. Other Electron-based messaging programs seem to do this OK (see eg. Caprine, Google-chat-electron).

not here, but there seems to be a giant void in development for this program .. sadly ..
I have just (literally) found https://www.electronjs.org/apps/altus and will give it a try to compare/contrast .. since I use WhatsApp a lot ..
