Description

Hello,
I purchased Mac Mouse Fix and received the license code. I activated it in the app, but from time to time, it gets deactivated and shows the 'You have used your 30-day free trial' error. I have to re-enter my license code to activate it again in order to use my customized gestures on my mouse.

Steps to reproduce

Context

Mac Mouse Fix Version: 3.0.3
macOS Version: 14.5 (23F79)
Mouse Model: –

…ecided that the license key is definitely invalid and that we don't need to fallback to the cache. Now we have much better code that explicitly encodes whether the server told us that the license is *definitively* valid or invalid, or if the server's response does not indicate for sure whether a license is valid or not. And then we fall back to the cache whenever the server's response is not clear. This might fix issues such as #1136. I reviewed these changes pretty meticulously, but still might have introduced bugs, since we changed the logic pretty substantially.

Dear @jackiehanyang, thanks very much for your feedback!

I'm sorry for the trouble. I'm currently refactoring the licensing code in the app, and I think I found - and fixed - a bug that could cause this exact behavior. Unfortunately I'm not sure when I can ship an update with that, yet. In the mean time, based on my understanding of that bug, it mightt help if you use a Firewall to completely cut off the app from the internet.

Buttt, some users have reported the same kinds of issues even while using a Firewall (Like Little Snitch or Lulu) (See #976). So I can't promise that a Firewall will help unfortunately.

Again, I'm sorry about the trouble. I'd be glad to give you a refund. Please just click here if you're interested.

I hope this helps at least a bit! And let me know if you have more questions.
