When using %matplotlib inline in a single cell of a notebook, the static checking with flake8 will report a false positive of too many blank lines:

docs/examples/intro.py:8:1: E303 too many blank lines (3)

(using modified sed command as given in #75 also with the unmodified sed command according to Travis CI output)

As a workaround the %matplotlib inline can be added to a different cell containing other statements.
