Configuring Your Account: customize bashrc #14
Comments
We didn't discuss this the other day. I can take a look. |
I'm trying to go through a collect any old stuff on documentation. I will add a brief couple of sentences about customizing bash via your .bashrc file, but then I'll try to find something external to link to that has broader explanations. |
I'm going to create a branch off of propose_changes to work on this. This will probably take a few rounds of revisions and arguing within the SMEs about where the threshold is of what we should tell the users and separately what to recommend to the users. |
This is indeed still a concern. We really should have a brief blurb about customizing your bashrc. |
I think this will go better in the documentation hub. I'l start working on this over there. |

The Configuring Your Account section under Account Administration on the wiki page seems a little incomplete. I also cannot tell what section the 'SLURM batch' link is supposed to be pointing to (it doesn't currently go anywhere). For now, the section is duplicated in the repo pretty much as is (minus the Slurm batch link). Looking for some input or who to reach out to.
