Tip for using static_cache in other projects

Currently in my project, all my folders are directly inside the root folder.
ProjectRoot/infrustructure, ProjectRoot/static

What I did to get my static cache to work was to add an empty __init__.py to my ProjectRoot, import __init__.py into my ProjectRoot/infrastructure/static_cache.py file and set my __full_path like so:

__full_path = os.path.dirname(os.path.abspath(__init__.__file__))

I then added to my viewmodelbase:

self.build_cache_id = static_cache.build_cache_id

so I could access ${build_cache_id('/static/some/file.file')} in my shared chameleon template.
