@DrCoconut1245 Apologies for a late reply. The IMU you've linked works on 3.3V voltage, so it should work with RS41 hardware. There are the following high-level steps to getting your sensor working, but I'm afraid it is not a task for a beginner:

Hi, I have been looking into using the RS41 as a low cost telemetry unit for model rockets. I have already tested it once on a flight where it preformed well and we where able to get live GPS data for the majority of the flight, but I have been wondering about the possibility of connecting a IMU over I2C and having that data transmitted back as well. What would the steps be to configure a new sensor to work on the sonde? Is this a approachable task for a beginner programmer? I have no idea if I will or even can do this, but I want to get an understanding of the amount of work this would take. Thank you for any advice!
