Just because no one has made an "awesome" list for FAST, doesn't mean it has a bad name. It was difficult when it was new to find it in searches, but that is the same for all new projects. I don't have any issues anymore. People who don't know what FAST is, are not going to search "fast" to try to find it. Just like people who don't know what lit is, won't search for lit. They will search for "best custom element libraries" or something similar. If someone needs to find the fast website because they can't remember fast.design, they can search "fast custom elements" and its the first result. |

Thanks for kicking off this discussion @lbgitjp and for the feedback. First, I'm glad that you have a method for finding resources related to projects on Github. I do think it's important to note that it sounds like the resources you're finding are for projects built to support Unfortunately, for now, we've got a significant backlog of work and a small team and a name change would likely be more disruptive than the upcoming Major versions we're working on. For now, we can remain hopeful that folks who choose to search will be descriptive. Perhaps they will bookmark resources they find or contribute to OSS by growing resources related to the community with their own awesome list. We've also got a growing and active community on Discord that folks can join where the community shares with one another. So, I'm hopeful that there are ways to find us amidst the sea of adjectives that exist within search engines. One thing that I think we can both agree on is that there are two hard things in development - creating an awesome project and naming things. One is definitely easier than the other. |

'fast' is a bad name for a project, It is difficult to search resources related to this project.
if you search 'fast' in github or google, you can't find useful resources related to this project, because the name ‘fast' is too common.
if i want to find some resources relate to a project xxx in github, I just find 'awesome-xxx' in github,
I can find 'awesome-react' in github, it will show many projects relate to react.
I can find 'awesome-lit' relate to lit...
almost every project xxx I can find many useful 'awesome-xxx' in github.
BUT for this project 'fast', if I find 'awesome-fast' in github, i get NOTHING.
so ‘fast’ is a very bad project name, you guys better change your project name.
Thanks!
