Describe the feature that you'd like
having a git hook running upon merge would generate a proper development release number for testing locally on my machine sometimes this build may fail and succeed so I can identify that from the hook logs printer upon merging through the command line output, what I think would be useful is to be able to see such logs in Output window or even a separate terminal showing such thing
Additional context (optional)
I think this may look like this
and I hope I can see such logs window such as this
I think this also would be useful for showing any failures in a more unified way instead of jumping and trying such things in a separate window and then jumping back to the git graph.
