mdformat additional plugins?

I use mdformat, but I would like to also add mdformat-mkdocs plugin. People may not want that by default, so do I create a whole other package definition for mdformat that includes mdformat-mkdocs? That would have to create a custom binary names so as not to conflict with vanilla mdformat, I suppose.

Or is there a way to make adding the mkdocs plugin an option to the existing mdformat package? I didn't see anything in the schema that supported that.
