Hi! I must say I really like this idea. A lot of people have suggested making an overlay, but that would simply be too much work and difficult for me to do. But your idea about a web version sounds plausible :) Also do you think it would be okay if the korok progress is only synced to your phone when you open the app? For example you open the app to sync before or after playing, but you would actually have to remember to do this or else the progress on your phone won’t update. Thanks for the suggestion, I really appreciate it :) |
Hi I can imagine an overlay would be quite involved and time consuming. It would probably interfere with the game itself eventually, perhaps causing crashes, etc so I understand this wouldn't be feasible. I've just tried to use that other explorer with my save file but it doesn't feel the same. Not knocking their work, because this is incredible stuff - but, their locations disappear after being tapped on screen, it doesn't give the hints like your version does and it can't be zoomed out past a certain point. I understand if you would prefer to adapt their work, but I do prefer your version (just my opinion). I think syncing it once a session is perfectly reasonable. I would be very happy to do that. Thank you for commenting back and considering my suggestion, I didn't expect a reply at all. Keep up the good work man :) |
I've only just discovered this and it has renewed my interest in the game. The only issue I'm having is constantly going back to the album to view the unexplored.
Would it be possible to get the app to display in html (if it isn't already) and offer up a server option where we can access that html on other devices connected to our network (phone)? That way we get the great features of this app and using the save file with the convenience of viewing on our phones?
Just an idea, keep up the great work. I created a github account just to leave this feedback.
