Protobuf spec allows negative enum values, this gem barfs on that #4

See https://gist.github.com/ismith/b17e9b31d696195169df for a demo script. Enum with an underlying value >=0 round trips fine, enum with a value <0 has an EOF error.

Run said gist as ruby protobuf_negative_enums.rb; NOTA BENE it requires protobuf because we haven't yet released protobuffy to rubygems.
