Hi!

I've used your git-oldest-ancestor for a long time in a custom "squash" script I wrote but of late it fails with an error like:

diff: unrecognized option `--old-line-format='

I don't want to make any work for you but I'm just curious if you still use the ancestor git alias and if so what you've done to bypass this error?
