Lambda is a pretty popular client, on and off 2b2t, for many anarchy players. As such, only a quick look at the discord shows players that are Russian, or just speak different languages, sometimes trying to use the worlds most shittiest translators to get help, or acting like we can understand them.
I believe adding a translation method to Lambda may allow for speakers of different languages to understand the client functions much better, and open up anarchy with a secure, no compromises, open source client, like Lambda, to many different language speakers.
I know I, and at least a few others would love, and want to contribute to translating to our native languages.
As discussed in the Discord, there is a shitton of ways to implement this, from separate jar releases per language, or a system like the plugin manager that allows one to install language packs from an official repo.
This would be an amazing feature to have a focus on for version 3.3, and I am opening this issue as advised from the discussion earlier in #suggestions on the discord.
