Ring Wired Doorbell Configuration Issue - Doesn't Ring

I need some help configuring scrypted with my Ring doorbell. I have had it working once or twice but it doesn't seem to last. Currently the video shows in homekit on my iphone and apple tv but the doorbell doesn't ring when pushed (though it does ring on my echo dot). Here's what i have:
Doorbell (per Ring app):
Voltage: 18V
Signal Strength: RSS -61

Scrypted:
Installed on Linux Mint on a Mac Mini with latest updates all around.
Homekit plugin: server port 34558; everything set to default
Ring plugin: everything set to default and logged in with two factor code
Front doorbell streams: Prebuffered Streams - nothing checked, others set to default. Homekit RTP Sender default. Doorbell Automation Button checked off. Extensions: Selected WebRTC Plugin, Rebroadcast Plugin, Homekit. Snapshot Plugin an Transcoding are not selected (I've tried various combinations without success. When i first installed this a few weeks ago, I would see a history of video on the webpage but after a reinstall i only see the current capture from the last time the page loaded. Regardless, i was getting video captured on my iPhone on one point but no longer and i don't know what's changed.

Home app on iPhone: I can see live video but have not seen any motion captured in 2 days. I see two tiles, one for motion and one for the doorbell. On the doorbell setting, for Single Press under actions, i have it playing a doorbell mp3 on my homepods. Testing works but it does not get triggered on a doorbell press. I've also tried deleting the action as i'm not sure what the HomePods are supposed to do without an action but still no luck.

I've also rebooted everything multiple times. I have an AppleTV 4k as the hub also.
