I just installed a VM (on my ESXi) at home. Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, did the full run of updates and upgrades. After updates and upgrades I did a reboot and then went to the repo on Github (https://github.com/koush/scrypted/wiki/Installation:-Docker-Compose-Linux) and performed the following:
After this I am able to browse to the IP:port of my VM and configured username + password and installed the Homekit plugin. However, I am not able to add the virtual Bridge Scrypted created to my home. It is able to detect it on my network when I try to add but it times out after I tap to add and scan the code. It keeps on connecting and eventually times out with a yellow triangle.
Verified the docker file, which is set to host mode networking. I have other Homekit bridges in my home (Hue, Homebridge on a server, Homebridge on a HOOBS in the garden shed/garage) so I am quite familiar with working with Homekit but I can't see what is going wrong here. Full install log for your convenience:
