(cd /var; groovyclient -e "println new File('.').absolutePath")
cd /tmp
groovyserver -r -q
(groovyclient -e "println new File('.').absolutePath"; cd /var; groovyclient -e "println new File('.').absolutePath")

#=> all work well.
/private/var/.
/private/tmp/.

(cd /var; groovyclient -e "println java.nio.file.Paths.get('.').toAbsolutePath()")
