How to create a fixed Menu on scroll?

I was wondering if and how to make the MENU to appear fixed when scrolling down.

I tried #sidebar {position: fixed} but no luck.

Hey @pamelamartello, what about #slidebar {position: fixed} and then setting the "margin-top" of the top most element to 4rem.
