Copied from #689: When my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note20) is connected to my car via Bluetooth I can play music via Squeezer and SB Player but there is no metadata (artist, track, album) sent to the car's head unit.

I'm not sure if this is responsibility of Squeezer or SB Player.

There's a SO thread about doing so: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21246028/best-practice-for-avrcp-on-android-sending-meta-data-to-bluetooth-device

I have the same issue with my Galaxy A52 connected to a 2023 Mazda CX-50 (display only shows "Not provided"). I successfully tested the DI.FM Radio app and can see the channel name displayed, then if I click the audio control button, I can view full song/artist info on the Mazda's built in display, so I'm confident it's not an issue with my phone. I've also tested all of the available BT AVRCP versions under Developer options.
