Select all for multi select combo box

The problem

We have a requirement of adding select all option in combo box when user types say 3 chars and list pops up ; if the list is long user has to select each one so instead require a select all checkbox and when selected should select related list which was typed for, can something like this be done in salt combo box component?

The solution

Although it's possible to add select all Option to combo box, an "all" pill will also be added to the combo box input, which is not desired.
