"$Site" and "$Publisher" #2

I really want to love this addon. But can you fix this? The resulting text after I copy past is :

"Medium vs WordPress – Choosing the Right Platform." $site. September 23, 2016. $publisher, Web. September 23, 2016. http://winningwp.com/medium-vs-wordpress/

Note "$site" and "$publisher" stuck in the paste.

When I tested this it only seemed to occur with the "mla" citation style, whereas the others worked as expected.
