Add ids?

I wanted to contribute a small patch to it but I can't figure out what the process is, and it's been decades since I've used svn!
It would be great if you could include the post ID here:
19 <div class="post hentry ivycat-post">
in templates/posts_loop_template.php, with something like:
id="<?php the_ID(); />"
That would be a great help for linking to these divs.
