Describe your dataset and any specific challenges or blockers you have or anticipate.
My data appears is from a marine survey, involving the observation and measurement of fish populations in North-coast Kenya site. The dataset includes details such as the date of the survey, the site area, depth, observation method, observer name and various attributes of the observed fish, such as their family, taxonomic groups, size, and swim distance.
One of the primary hurdles I anticipate is standardizing my dataset according to the Darwin Core standards, ensuring that it aligns with the required fields and formats. This can be particularly challenging if my data includes unique or specialized fields that don't directly match these standards.
Info about "raw" Data Files.
The raw data is one big file organized in a tabular format, with each row representing a specific observation or survey instance, and each column representing a different attribute or characteristic being measured or recorded.
