Version 0.15.0 - Highland release
With the release of A Highland Song behind us we've found time to do some work on Inky, which includes the latest version of ink, including improvements that were made during the development of A Highland Song. So welcome to the Highland release of Inky!
Note that we now have Inky direct download links directly on the homepage for ink, and they will always point to the latest release on here.
What's New
- Now using latest ink (1.2.0). This release mostly has bug fixes, but we have added one little feature: It’s now possible to have a newline between a choice’s label and its content, which is helpful for laying out verbose looking choices:
* (say_something_interesting_about_bricklaying)
"I did have one interesting fact about bricklaying, if you don't mind me spending taking a fair bit of time to lay the groundwork for it."
- Now using latest inkjs (2.2.3) (thanks @smwhr and all the contributors to inkjs)
- Option to disable animation in player view for faster iteration
- When you accidentally introduce an infinite loop in your ink, Inky will no longer become unresponsive.
- Inky is now a Universal binary on Mac, which means it includes both Apple Silicon and Intel versions in one app.
- Inky is now notarised on Mac, meaning it will launch without needing to go into your security settings
- Fix for data loss when repeatedly hammering save keyboard shortcut (thanks for the repro @msala1203)
- Internal version of Electron has finally been updated (thanks @GreenCloversGames and @smwhr!)
- Disable web animations when the user prefers reduced motion (thanks @LeopoldTal)
- Web export template fixes and improvements (thanks @allaze-eroler, @elliotherriman)
- Localisations: Finnish and Russian now supported, resolved issues with certain diacritics in player view and other fixes (thanks @msaveleva, @acaffeinateddev, @korman)
