I keep breaking the AOL file's format by changing shit, mosty recently the removal of Content-Type as a first-class citizen. If we read how we're supposed to read the data from the AOL file itself this wouldn't be an issue.

it's either this or converters, I assume?

Well the problem with converters and our AOL format is that it's not always possible to infer which version of an AOL file we're looking at. Regardless of the method we're going to have to start writing some sort of metadata down.

Agreed, since we're using a CSV-ey format, why not have headers?
