Please elaborate here on the enhancement request.
It is commonplace to reach a point where a piece of software is not continued. Several reasons can lead to this situation: no longer needed, reach its ultimate goal, no maintainers, etc.

Describe the solution you'd like
A separate section to address management of software marked as unsupported.

This would be for a document on SW release, management and support
same comment as in #17
