Supporting this property can have the following consequences:

Any kind of weird / non-linear move numbering, e.g. move numbers are skipped, higher move numbers before lower move numbers, same move numbers.
Negative move numbers
Move numbers with 5 digits or more which cannot be rendered anymore

If the decision is to not support the property, its value could at least be preserved.
