There should be an option to specify color collections the user can directly choose from.

Hi Nils, that would be great. I'd like to specify a number of colors on a site-wide settings tab or in the config.php (easier from a programmers point of view) and these colors should be used in your plugin instead. How could this be achieved?

I have no concept for this so far. So if you have an idea how this might work feel free to post it here :)

+1 Would be awesome to preset colors for customer
