use existing database instance to perform migration

Hi, I would like to pass a database to migrate and have it use that. It feels strange that I have to open the database twice. Additionally, I want to use it later with https://github.com/canonical/go-dqlite and then there is no easy way to specify the sqlite db file, since dqlite doesnt work like that.
