GRSciColl - Adding Collection descriptor group type - TETTRIS

The request originally came from the TETTRIS project.

They would like to be able to upload group of descriptors together with a type. The idea is to be able to find collection containing descriptors of a certain type.
In the context of the TETTRIs project, this type would be "reference collection" (which can be a sub-collection for example). So anyone looking for reference collections, can find them in the GRSciColl portal.

I could see other advantages of being able to search collection descriptor groups by type or at least a tag. For example, it might be helpful to get collections that have collection summaries from Index Herbariorum. I could also imagine that SwissCollNet would be happy to share descriptors under specific types.

Two questions:

• How to manage controlled values for such types/tags? Should it be part of the vocabulary server?
• Should there be more than one type/tag per collection descriptor group? for example, if we imagine that the type/tag could represent the origin of the descriptors as well as what they are, then two tags could make sense, something like IH and summary or sub-collection.

As a possible alternative to a type/tag for a whole group of descriptors, we could also ask people to fill a column of the descriptors with the information.
