Compatibility with Linux

Hi, would there be any possibility of porting this functionality to Linux?

I know it's been a while since you updated the repo but is there a possibility you'd still remember how you made it work and write up some sort of documentation for it?
Or maybe you already wrote it and I just couldn't find it?

Anyway, any help with this would be really appreciated, if you know any other similar projects I would be really interested in checking them out as well.
